Belfast IT Girls – Summer Camp is back!

Belfast IT Girls Summer Camp is back by for another exciting summer!!

Are you interested in technology or curious to see if this is a pathway for your future? If so Belfast IT Girls is a FREE one week girl focused technology camp for gilrs between ages 15 – 18 to develop; Digital, IT and Creative skills.

42 young women attended last years summer camp. The free week-long event held at Belfast Met’s Titanic Quarter campus. Teenagers get the opportunity to upgraded their IT skills in workshops on cyber security, the Internet of things and web development. They also got to chat to successful women in IT from firms such as EY, Liberty IT, Allstate and Neueda.

“I really enjoyed the whole week-long programme. I especially enjoyed listening to the inspirational women who work in various IT companies tell us about how they got to where they are. The cyber security and Internet of things aspects were my favourite.”

This 1 week programme is FREE and open to girls aged 15-19
